Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
In northwestern Illinois, over 4,500 grandparents are raising their grandchildren because the parents are unable to care for the child for a number of reasons including: death, illness, divorce, incarceration, neglect, and unemployment.

Education and Training
Grandparent forums, conferences and other educational programs are available at various times throughout the year.
Temporary respite care

Legal Services

Emergency Assistance
Emergency assistance (or gap filling service) is available to provide a safety net of essential help for temporary and essential medical, housing, legal, homemaker and other assistance as needed. Click here for your provider site
